Reading on the Rapid Radiative Transfer Model (RRTMG) radiation scheme to better understand how radiation is being treated on WRF. For more context, I use the RRTMG radiation scheme for longwave and shortwave radiation in WRF as it is one of the more popular schemes to use and can even interact with the microphysics scheme which makes it more relevant for marine fog study.
